How Big Can Hurricanes Get?
July 24, 2017
If you are thinking of purchasing a generator, you can start by assessing exactly how much power you will need to sustain in the case of temporary emergency. Whether buying a generator for home or commercial use, the same requirement applies. When you can determine this amount, based on the power needs of the major appliances and systems you will keep operational, your next step will be to decide on the best model of generator to fit your needs.
There are gas-powered, diesel-powered, and natural gas-powered generators. Portable generators work well for home use, but commercial or industrial operations require much higher electrical output. There are different types of high-quality generators on the market, such as diesel-powered generators by John Deere orCummins. Other brands include Perkins, Volvo, Mitsubishi, and Yanmar.
