Product Feature: 400 kW Volvo Diesel Generator Non-EPA

The 400 kW Volvo Diesel Generator from Triton provides three-phase power in prime and standby installations. Volvo engine model TAD1344GE is coupled with Deep Sea control panel model DSE7310 and a brushless Stamford Newage generator end. Together, they create a powerful and reliable genset for a variety of purposes.

This genset is not compliant with the EPA’s tiered regulations. However, the engine’s fuel-efficient design and excellent combustion are compliant with EU Stage 3 exhaust emission regulations.

Volvo Engine Model TAD1344GE

The Volvo TAD1344GE is designed for both prime and standby operation. The dual speed engine can operate at both 50 Hz/1500 RPM and 60 Hz/1800 RPM. Regardless, you will find this engine and genset run smoothly and vibration-free. This results in a low noise level.

This engine from Volvo Penta is not only powerful and reliable but economical as well. The high-tech electronic high-pressure fuel injection and charging system result in an engine with low fuel consumption. The six-cylinder engine uses 106.3 L/hr with a full load. A half load requires 53.7 L/hr of diesel fuel. The lifetime of the engine is considered in this claim of economic feasibility as well. The cylinder liners and valve seats are replaceable for a durable engine that lasts for years.

Maintenance is made easier with accessible service points built into the engine design. The electronic control system optimizes engine performance while providing diagnostic information.
