Why Invest in a Generator?
November 3, 2017
One good way a business can prevent disruption of operation is to have electric generators that will provide an immediate supply of power in the event of an outage. Power regulators designed the electric grid to have a system of redundancy that will ensure that when one generating plant goes offline, others can pick up the slack. Even with a backup plan, however, power is still interrupted from time to time.
A few minutes without power may sound insignificant, but in the manufacturing industry, it could have major ramifications. If production stops, it could take a massive effort to get the assembly line running again. Machines may need to be re-calibrated as well.
Problems and expenses could be avoided by having a standby generator that will automatically kick in and provide power the very second the power goes down.
